Family Activities

Why not arrange a trip for the whole family this summer.

The Buried Village in Rotorua is giving a way 2 FAMILY PASSES valid until 31 December 2013, so there's still lots of time to get organised.

The Buried Village is one of NZ’s most visited historic sites. It's suitable for the whole family with plenty to see and do for the kids.

The Buried Village with its award-winning museum, recreated pioneer cottage, Maori whare and excavated sites is a must-see attraction for anyone visiting Rotorua. The scenic nature trail, which includes a walk to the stunning Wairere waterfall, and Vi's Teahouse onsite are attractions in their own right.

The excavated village offers a first-hand insight into the chaos and mayhem that transpired on the night Mount Tarawera erupted. It is an authentic appreciation of the people of Te Wairoa, both Maori and European, on how they lived… and died.

Don't miss out, head over and be in to win 1 of the 2 family passes on our Competitions page.
